Three Years Already

During our honeymoon in Miri
I'm a bit stunt for what my wife wishes me when she kiss my hand after Subh prayer today. "Happy Anniversary sayang..." I pause for a moment and replied "Yes sayang, three years already". She smiled at me and I just stare at her (while smiling in my heart). Really don't know how to express my feelings properly.

Its not that I forget. I know that we were lawfully married on the 20th November three years ago. But I remember the date in a way not like others would seem to remember their anniversaries. Its a date that will eventually come and go every year for my wife and me to know that we have pass another year in our marriage. Alhamdulillah. Its the same how I would perceive my own birthday.

Clock will always ticking. It will never stop. Life goes on. The past is the past. What matter is how we live our life to have a better future. A better self, better children, better family and better society. History is just a reminder for us to keep walking or even running to build a better outcome from our actions guided by a true and legitimate worldview.

I have no plan to celebrate it as many would do. No flowers, no perfumes and worst, I don't even prepare any wishes to say to my wife. Pity my wife to have such a husband like me. Well, I thank Allah for having her as my wife. She is no left hand for me and neither am I to her. We were both right hand for each other. I can't think of any better woman to be my wife other than her.

Alhamdulillah. Thank you sayang for being my wife, a mother to our children and a doctor for the ummah. Thank you sayang :)

Innocence of Muslims Bukan Suatu Yang Baru

Dunia Muslim kecoh apabila filem "Innocence of Muslims" diterbitkan oleh Nakoula Basseley Nakoula bersama sekumpulan individu atas nama hak asasi manusia.

TURNING TO SONY... Goodbye NOKIA

This is my 1st entry through my new smartphone mobile. A Sony Ericson product, XPERIA PRO. Its hot red with keypad slide despit being a touchscreen.

I have nothing against NOKIA though. Its a good brand with good products. Known for its solid and tough mobile phone. But I decide to change after being loyal for nearly 10 years.

My last NOKIA mobile phone has served me well for three years. I hve nothing to complaint. Its time already that it has to go. After going through much 'torcher' in the hands of my son and me, still at this time, it is still pretty much needed for all the datas it stored inside.

Currently I'm still working in comforting myself with the usage of this XPERIA. Its not easy for me to get my fingers all ready for the new experience with a smartphone. As I also have the tendency to perceive it as a small functioning computer which I later realize that it is too much to expect.

Altough it is a smartphone we can email, make lots of notes and presentation slides, with a desktop, it got RAM and so much alike a computer. But it comes with a limit. It is still just a phone with upgrades here and there to function only a little like a computer.

Well, I hope that it can be a loyal servant to me as good as NOKIA phones. With extra functions and application to ease my life. I change to get better result. And I hope XPERIA is the good choice.

Ramadhan Kareem!

If You Don't Trust Them, Please Don't Simply Accused Them

Earlier this month, we held the third series of our Tautan Kasih Sukarelawan Al-Falah (SAF) Sarawak at Adis Buan Resort, Bau. Its a training and development based program to equipped our newly recruited members with compulsory skills as volunteers in SAF Sarawak.

This entry is not intended to report the activities we had in the program. Just to touch on a matter that I really should comment, to help us in being a good practicing Muslim. For some it may not be a big deal. For me, even how small the matter would be, if by correcting it would be beneficial, then what wrong does it make?

As some have knew that our participants are from the sidelined youth with various problematic social background. Or some would call them as the 'problematic youth'. Despite of the terms used to define them, it is our aim to get them back in as a respectable person through volunteerism.

During the program, the trainers have lost some items that was needed in conducting activities. And some personal items was also found missing. The sad part was, when some of the trainers was too easy in blaming the participants for the missing items. I was more shocked when a trainer simply accused the participants to have stole the items for personal needs on the ground of their problematic social background.
